Excited to bring you another Artisan’s Spotlight post today, our Canadian friends from Touch of Heart boutique based out of Toronto, Ontario. We spoke with Savannah Clancey, Owner and Creative Designer at Touch of Heart to learn all about her customized bridal hangers, cake toppers and more!

What do you create?
Touch of Heart is an online store that specializes in personalized bridal hangers for wedding parties as well as wire cake toppers. Over the last few months I’ve been introducing custom hangers for other occasions (baby showers, graduations, new pet owners), wire bouquets and table numbers.
Why did you start your business and how did you choose what to make?
I wanted to give my matron of honour and bridesmaids a unique gift to say thank you for being part of one of the biggest moments of my life. Everything I looked at was out of my price range so I thought, “why not create a hanger with their names done in wire writing?” After many attempts and almost as many fails, I found something that I was happy with. The girls loved them. Not only did it add a special touch to our dress photos, it was something original and handmade. After seeing how they turned out, my now husband encouraged me to continue making them for other brides.
If there’s one thing you’d love your customers to know about you, what would that be?
I am truly touched when brides or their friends and families choose Touch of Heart to create a memorable piece for their wedding day. I put a lot of time and love into each hanger, cake topper, or table number I make. If I’m not 200% happy with the way it turns out or I wouldn’t be stoked to use it at my own wedding, I’m not going to send it to you. I really want each piece to be thoughtful. thankful. memorable. xoxo
