For Sellers

If you are on a desktop (or laptop) computer, from our home page, you will simply click the “add listing” button in the upper right corner. If you are on a mobile device, tap on the menu button in the upper left of your screen and click the “add listing” button.

No! List as many items as you like, for FREE!

Buyers will contact you using our built-in chat. You will receive an email notification to let you know you have a new message and you can communicate with them either via email or through the message center on our website.

If you have chosen to provide shipping for your listings, you will need to provide potential buyers with a shipping quote. You can either give buyers a flat rate or you can ask that buyers provide you with their shipping details for an exact quote.
It is best to have a rough idea of the packed weight and dimensions of your item(s). Once you have those details, you can use the online shipping calculator on the website of your chosen shipping carrier.
You can purchase discount shipping online through several retailers, such as pirateship.com or shippo.com.

If you’re meeting in person, cash is always best! If you’re shipping your items, we have partnered with and recommend Trustap. Trustap is a secure transaction platform that provides complete protection when you want to buy or sell with someone you don’t know.

Please do not use payment apps such as Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, etc. These apps are intended for sending money to people that you know and trust. They do not provide any type of protection for buyers or sellers.

 

If a buyer is insisting that they pay using one of these apps or asks to pay you via Western Union or bitcoin do not transact with this buyer. Contact us so that we can investigate. The only payment providers that we recommend are (in order of preference) Trustap or Paypal.

Easy! First, log in to your account. Once you are logged in, click on your name in the top right ( bottom right on mobile) and select “My Listings”. 

Here you will see all of your current listings. To edit a listing, click the pencil icon and select the section you want to edit. To delete a listing simply click the trash can icon.

For Buyers

The only payment providers that we recommend are (in order of preference) Trustap or Paypal.

What if the item(s) I ordered are not what I received or they are not as described?

 

Wedding Recycle is the platform that allows individuals to sell their new and used wedding items. We do not broker, nor take possession of, the products or payments. While we do everything in our power to ensure that our sellers and their listings are authentic, sometimes people may misrepresent themselves or their items.


The first step in this case is to reach out to the seller and see if the situation can be resolved with them directly. If this fails, and you have used one of our recommended payment processors, you may open a dispute.


With Trustap you have 24 hours after recieving your item to lodge a compaint before funds are released to the seller. You can submit a complaint either through the app or use this link.


For Paypal the process is similar, and you can find more information on opening a dispute with Paypal here.
